I’ve enjoyed the response from those who have downloaded and explored my new E-Book ” 3 Processes For A Successful Pet Website”. A few readers had absolutely no idea just how complex the process is and can be for putting together a website and at the same time considering every aspect of its design with a purpose.
Below is an excerpt from my Ebook.
In the pet sitting industry, most of us are after more clients and that equals business growth and profit. Some pet entrepreneurs however consider themselves successful in their desired growth and profit amounts as they are. Some pet entrepreneurs have no desire to take on more clients, or have decided the income level they have reached is enough at this time. Perhaps they decided they do not want to work more, harder, and add more staff. So what would these pet entrepreneurs “purpose” be when it comes to getting ready to revamp, build, or start a new pet website?
The answer for these types of pet entrepreneurs would be to create a website purpose that presents “stability” or perhaps “retention”. How on earth would you build a website based on a purpose of stability or retention you ask? The answer to this question is not a one-word answer as the complexities are too broad and wide, as diversified per client. I can however tell you this: The website would be built to give a feeling of maximum growth with good strong retention. I would encourage the client to create a “waiting list”. I would still suggest, “selling your services”. If you present your website with maximum growth and retention feelings, then you may still find calls coming in because you must be that good!
I can create a big list of potential “purposes” for your pet website to give you examples, but this really has to come from you. Let me ask you a few questions instead. Is your number one purpose to get more clients? Or is your number one purpose to retain clients? Perhaps your number one purpose is to simply make a lot of money – profit, profit, and more profit. Maybe it sounds callous to say it like that, but you must be totally honest with yourself about your website purpose or you’re fooling no one but yourself and you’re not playing with the Bag Of Gold the internet has offered you to it’s fullest. Besides, who doesn’t want to make lots of profit!
