I’ve thought a lot lately about the most common and highly debated topic discussed among pet sitters, dog walkers and other pet care businesses and that is “what is true success” in a pet care company? Some say, that if you reach the point where you can stay home and work from the office and work ON your business instead of IN your business – then this is successful business. Others argue this and argue with passion that a “sole” pet sitter, even with no staff – IS INDEED just as successful. So I am really curious about what YOU think?

What Constitutes A Successful Pet Business? How Do YOU define Success?

  • Hi Laura – super topic! I totally agree with you that success can be something completely different for each person.

For me business success is being able to make the rules, being able to be creative and help others, make enough money to do the things I want and help the people and pets that are important to me, to be able to provide a job to others that they love (working with pets), and to provide a great service to customers that appreciate us.
